Day 1: Departure by train “Cinque Terre Express” from the La Spezia Centrale Train Station and arrival in Riomaggiore, the first of 5 Terre, tour at laisure of the village. The Riomaggiore’s tower houses, painted with pastel colours, seem to rise from the sea and try to climb the hills, that are designed by the precious stone walls. Transfer by Cinque Terre Express Train and arrival in Vernazza, tour at leisure of “La Perla delle 5 Terre”. The village is located in a natural bay: the colorful houses, the medieval fortifications and the church of S. Margherita constitute an urban-architectural ensemble of considerable visual impact. The small main square is one of the most evocative place in Cinque Terre. Transfer by public boat towards Portovenere. Sailing along the coast it is the best way to admire the area and it is the most panoramic way to discover the 5 villages. Landing in Portovenere and tour at leisure. Portovenere has inspired many poets including Lord Bayron, who’s felt in love with one of the most magical places in Liguria: the cliff dominated by the famous Church of San Pietro. Retun to La Spezia by pubblic boat.
Day 2: Departure from the dock of La Spezia with the pubblic boat and travelling towards Manarola, landing and tour at leisure of the village. Manarola is surrender by the green of the vineyards and the terraces, and its marina is the most pictured ever: the view from Punta Palaedo is amazing! Continue by train towards Monterosso, the “biggest” of the 5 villages. The station is located in the seafront of the “pese nuovo” called “Fegina”, and through a nice walk along the promenade you reach the “paese vecchio”. Once arrived, with a short walk of 5 minutes, you will arrive at one of the most active farms in the area. Tour of the farm and local wines tasting accompanied by a snack based on typical products. During the afternoon tour of the Monastery of the Capuchin Friars, the complex won the 1st place in the FAI ranking “Places of the heart” 2015 edition. Return to La Spezia with the Cinque Terre Express train.
